Need To Get A Move On

With the news of Carrie Fisher's death still fresh, it has made me come to a realization.  I want to finish the series of "books" that TGP starts.  Well, I need to get the first book finished so I can start on the second.  TGP is closed to being finished, but not there quite yet. 

I am going to try and work on both it and Nothing Is What It Seems at the same time.  I'll post my plans for the new year and next month later this week.

My Hope

I hope to get the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems out by the end of the year.  I'm on the first edit now.  I only have a few days left, but I'm going to do my best to try and get it done before midnight Saturday.

New job is going well.  Things are a bit rough with getting to learn new company rules and what not.  Other wise, so far everything is good.

Some Great News

I know that it wasn't long ago that I made the announcement I was unemployed.  Well, I just got a seasonal job at a new retail store, with hopes of getting a permanent position after the season.  So I can't say when Chapter 35 will be out.  I start tomorrow. 

I'll work on the chapter as much as I can.  I'm in the middle of rewriting some of what I had already written.

The store I worked at is now officially closed.  So you guys know what that means.  Any way, when I haven't been looking for something new, I've been working on something for you guys.  So give me a few more days, and I'll get it out.

Final Days

Well, it's the final days of the store.  So things are still a bit crazy.  I am going to try to get something out to you all soon.  I'm still sorry for the long break.

I know that it has been almost a month since I've updated you guys.  Like I said because the store is closing they are giving out over time.  I'm working most weeks six days a week, and on my off day I don't really feel all that up to writing.

I am applying, but of course as it's the holidays most retailers want someone just for the season.  So it's hard.

October 2016 Goals

Okay, guys.  Things are still going crazy and slightly bad.  As I said in an earlier update, the retail store I work at is closing.  I am putting applications in trying to find something hopefully before i loose my current job completely, but sadly it can't be retail.  I have also put applications in for food as well. 

So back to the writing.  I haven't actually written much for Nothing Is What It Seems.  Because of the store closing, I am able to work a lot of hours.  So because of family stuff, I'm doing that.  I don't have the drive to write too much at the moment.  Doesn't mean I'm not coming up with some ideas.

So this month I have two planned releases.  I've split the Halloween story in two.  I still need to edit the first part.  I will be releasing them closer to Halloween, I think.  They won't be out the same week.  Unless something really bad happens.

New Update

So like I posted last week.  The retail store I work at is clising; because of this and the fact I have the obsin to, I am working as much as I can.  Therefore, I don't have any real free time.  I will do my best to be sure the Halloween story is edited and ready for you guys next month.

Finally A Good Update, Well It Was

After weeks of writing, I've finally finished the first & second drafts of the Halloween story.  So now I'm in the middle of editing. I am thinking of splinting it in half, but I haven't made a final decision just yet.  I still need to give it a name as well.

Once this is ready, I'll begin working solely on Nothing Is What It Seems.

Now for the bad news.  The store I work at is closing.  So I'm now looking for a new job.  Also, my dad isn't able to work.  So as you can see this is bad.  I'll keep writing and updating as best as I can.

September's First Update

Okay, here's the first weekly post for this month.  It's a little later than normal because I wanted to be sure I was as update at possible when I posted it.

I've been working hard to get the Halloween story finished and ready for next month.  It's my main writing priority.  It's about finished.  I just need to get it down on paper.  So it's what I'm working on most, but I do try to write a bit for the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems, too.  I'm trying to write a bit everyday.  Some days it happens and some it doesn't.

I'm doing all of this, while reading Manga, too.  Not really playing too much on Wynncraft, at the moment.

September 2016 Plans

Another month, another post to outline goals, and this week's update post.

First, let's do the weekly update.  I've worked a bit on this years Halloween story, but nothing else.  It's no finished.  Just got to the part where Jareth and Sarah meet.  So yeah, there's still a bit to go.

Now for the monthly news.  Things are changes this month. Because of things happening in my life and the holiday season is almost here, I am decreasing the amount of updates a month.

I'll update something at least once a month.  So that's only one story updated a month.  I will no longer be updating three times a month. At most, I'll update twice a month. I can't say just yet when I will get the chapters out. 

I'm sorry for the change in updates, but I have to do this.  As of right now, I can do two updates for the next two months, but if I don't get anything new written in awhile, it will have to change.

Editing is done.  So next month's chapters are done.  No chapter next week.

Third Week of August Update

So have a few things to update you all on.  Still editing the chapters.  It's taking time.  I'm trying to change the color of the font to see where I changed things easier, but it's a pain to do on an 8 in screen.  I'm going to keep pushing on.

I'm still working on Chapter 35 of Nothing Is What It Seems.   I have also begun to work on this year's Halloween story.  So that's in the works.

I'm still playing Minecraft on wynncraft.com.  I'm trying not to get too stressed out by it.

Notes About Nothing Is What It Seems

As everyone who has read Nothing Is What It Seems knows, or has figured out, the story was originally based on the Grimm's story "Catskin."  Well, now that the part of my story that was actually based on that story has already come and gone.  Actually, that was where I originally had planned to end the story, but like most of my stories, it grew a mind of its own.

I know that a lot of Labyrinth fan fictions use the whole war thing.  I know I've used it before, but it seems like something that makes a lot of sense. Anyway,  this story as you can guess is now longer than I had planned.  I've been working on it for well two years now.

I don't ever really plan out my stories.  I find that when I do that I don't feel like writing out the story any more.  So I never know for sure how long a story will be or how long it will take me to finish it.

Second Week of August Update

Another week has come and gone.  So what's going on with the chapters I've been working on.  I've finished the second drafts of all three chapters.  Now time to edit.  I haven't started yet.  I do have some bad news.  Well, more for me than you.  I've run out of ink.  So I can no longer print out the chapters to edit.  So that means I'll have to use my tablet again.

Other wise, things are moving along well.  I am still working on a chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems.  So I do have a slight hope that it'll be ready late next month.

First Week Of August Update

So when I last updated you guys I hadn't gotten much done.  Well, I shouldn't say that.  I had the first drafts written for two chapters.  Well, now I can report I have the first draft finished for another one.  I've started on the second drafts.  I'm going to work my hardest to have them ready for next month.

So I'll have three chapters for next month, but I'm still not happy.  As of right now, there will not be a new chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems next month.

Things Are Changing This Month, Slightly

Another month has arrived.  So here's the monthly schedule of updates.  Because my work schedule has changed a bit, I may be changing on what day I update on.  I know I mentioned this last month.  I haven't made a final choice of when the chapters will go up, just yet.  So mostly this is just to tell you which story is being updated that week.

So TGP will be updated the week of the 7th, Nothing Is What It Seems will be updated the week of the 14th, and finally, Meeting The Family will be updated the week of the 21st.

Also, I'm going to try and do only one blog post a week to update you guys on what's going on.  Unless, of course, I need to try and get word out fast.  I'll set a certain day to post it for you guys later, but right now I don't have one.

I am in the middle of trying to get next month's chapters written and ready to go.  I'll update you guys on this later in the week.

Last Week of July Update

I thought I would do a little update for you guys.  So the writer's block is gone slightly.  I'm not working on TGP or Nothing Is What It Seems, but I am working on something.  I've got two chapters of Meeting The Family written up.  I am thinking of combining the two chapters into one, but I haven't made the final decision just yet. I want to think about it a bit more.

So of course as of right now, no news on when I will get back to the other two stories.  I of course, will update you guys.  I have a few ideas on how to take the stories, but I want more time to think over them.  Also, I have chosen the idea for this year's Halloween story.  I haven't started on it yet.  I may begin working on it before working on the other stories.

Editing Away and Update

So I'm really pushing it with my deadlines it seems.  I hadn't yet edited two of next month's chapters.  I've finished one chapter, but still have to make the changes in the file.

Also, the road isn't as blocked as before, but still haven't started on the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems, nor have I continued working on the TGP chapter.  I'm working on September's chapter of Meeting The Family.  So at least I'm getting something done.  I may actually begin working on the yearly Halloween story if nothing comes from the break from the two stories.

Hit A Roadblock

So I've hit two roadblocks.  I'm stuck on how to continue the chapter I'm working on for TGP, and I'm stuck on where exactly to take Nothing Is What It Seems at the moment.  So see I've really hit a block.

I'll try to work on something for later.  I have thought of creating a new one shot series, but no final decision as of yet.

Just A Little Update

I don't have much written for September's chapter of TGP written.  I'm writing it a bit at a time.  I know that I need to get a move on so that I have all the chapters I need for September.  As of right now, I have nothing to give you guys in two months.

I need to get them done soon because I would like to start editing them next month.  I also need to start on the chapters for October, including the possible Halloween story for this year.

So I'm not exactly behind just yet, but getting close.

Personal Update

So as I said on the first, I took a tiny little break.  I played some games and what not.  I'm still playing video games of course.  That won't change.  I've also started to watch some anime, well rewatching one and watching the latest from Japan of another.

Anyway, I've officially begun work on Chapter 23 of TGP.  I know not the story that everyone wished I would start on, but it's the one that I want to work on.

Taking Slight Break

Welcome to July, everyone.  So all this month's stories are ready.  I'm of course working on future chapters.  I can't promise that the 1st week story will be posted on Wattpad.  I may have to change what day I make the chapters go live.  My schedule's changing a bit.

Secret For Those Who Read My Blog

So this month there will be a fourth release.  I'll be releasing a second chapter for a story in the 26th of this month.  I won't reveal which story it's for.  It will go up on fanfiction.net and wattpad.

Quick little update

I've gotten almost all the second drafts of the chapters for August ready.  I really only have one left to do, but that one I need to finish the first draft.

I've also started on one of the chapters for September.  Yeah, I wasn't planning on starting on those just yet.  It might not be for September.  If I get everything finished, then I will give you guys an extra chapter this month.

Hitting A Road Block

So I have one chapter for August's rough draft finished maybe a second one.  Now the third hasn't even gotten started.  Lovely writer's block has hit.  I'm not too worried.  I still have a month to go.

Editing Update

Okay, so I feel like for the most part, July's chapters are ready.  I just need to edit the new memory for Chapter 21 of TGP. 

So thinks are looking good.

Hopefully, the last two chapters needed for August will be as easy to write as the first one was.

If I can get one more chapter written for a story than I need for August.  I may updated that one story twice this month, but I won't make any promises.  Also, only those who come to my blog will know about the possibility of it happening.  I may also do a sneak peek.  I haven't done one in awhile.

When Things Get Changed

So I'm working on Chapter 22 of TGP.  As I near the end of the chapter (yes the first draft is almost finished), I've come to a realizarion.  The memory I had written for Chapter 21 works better for Chapter 22.    So now I have to write a new memory.

You guys won't see it for a whike, but when Chapter 22 comes out you'll see.

Writing Update

Okay, so I'm working on the August chapter of TGP at the moment.  I have maybe about half of the chapter done.  I do have the chapter semi-planned out.  There isn't really any problems at the moment.  I'm just wanting to let you guys know where I am.  I am hoping to have the chapter finished this week.  Well, at least the first draft.

I still need to do another edit of the chapters for next month.

I am actually liking having the chapters done way in advance.  Although I am thinking of updating more often.  I haven't made a final decision yet.  I do know that a few of you would be happy about that.  My fear is that I'll hit a wall.

I have hit a wall with Meeting The Family.  I can't get chapter 13 even really started.  So I'm taking a break.  It'll be the last story I work on.  So of course Nothing will be the next one I'm working on.

Next week's chapter is ready to go.  It just needs to be the 12th.

I got the first edit done for the July chapters.  I still need to edit the memory for TGP, but other wise the first edit is done.

Planning/Starting on August Chapters

So I'm officially starting on the first draft of one of the chapters for August.  I won't say which story it's for.  I'm thinking of changing the order of which story is updated every month, but I'll have to wait and see.  I do have this month's schedule made out.  Love the Calendar app on my tablet.

I still need to make changes to one chapter and edit the 4th of July story, but those shouldn't take me long.

There will be a release on the 5th on both sites.  So see you then.

Monthly Goals For June 2016

So another month.  All the chapters for this month are ready to go.  I am changing the order of updating the stories this month, slightly.

I'll be taking the week of the 26th and of course this week off.

I have some of the chapters for next month finished, well first draft.  So next month is looking good.   This month can get a bit crazy cause what's going on at work, but I'll do my best to have you guys your chapters.

So I had to get a printer.  Now this is a semi-good thing.  I'm fairly old school when it comes to editing.  That means that I may now hopefully catch my mistakes.  I will say the first chapter to get this treatment is the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems.  I'm working on iot right now.  So hopefully I came make it a big longer as well.  Since the next chapter is being a bit of a pain.

Good news!  I've got two updates ready for next month.  So only one chapter left to get done.  I'm debating on starting to work on updates for July or not.  I want to rework a story that's on Wattpad.  It'll take some time away from the other stories.

My Plan for May 2016

The plan is really the same as it has been the last few months, at least a chapter a week (on Sundays), but I will take at least one week off.  So that means at least one new chapter per story a month.  At this time, I haven't decided which week that will be just yet, but I will let you know.

 I'm now throwing another story into the mix.  I'm continuing Meeting The Family.  I can't say how often it'll be updated, but I hope to get it finished as soon as I can. 

Now I am doing a weekly update on Wattpad for Meeting The Family, but I am only copying the story onto the site from fanfiction.net.  This happens every Saturday.

If I have anything new to tell you guys, I'll find a way to tell you.

Nothing Update

Got some good news.  I've got two pages written up for Chapter 29 of Nothing Is What It Seems, but I've come to a block.  I can't decide on how to go on with it.  I know what I want to happen, but can't get the words down.  I am hoping to get it finished this weekend; so that I can begin working on the first chapter of May.

Semi-Good News

So I've finished Chapter 18 of TGP.  It'll be out this coming Sunday, the 17th.  I don't have a chapter ready yet for the 24th.  I'm going to try and get a chapter finished for Nothing Is What It Seems, but no promises.

April 2016 Monthly Goals

Another month has arrived.  So that means another blog post about my monthly goals for the month.  Since this week already got a chapter, there's not need for another.

So the goals is try and have a chapter a week, but at the moment, I only have one chapter written.  It's the chapter that would have gone out this week.  I've also gotten the next chapter of TGP ready to go.

Starting this coming Sunday, I'll be releasing new chapters on Sundays instead of Wednesdays, but if I don't make have it ready on Sunday, I'll try to get something out later in the week.  Be sure to visit here for updates on when that happens.

March 2016's Plan

Happy Spring to those who the first of March starts spring.  For the rest us, we can't wait for it to get here.  Any way, you guys are here to see the schedule of releases and hear if I have anything new.  Well, then let's get started.  Please remember that this isn't a promise.  I am hoping to get these out to you guys.

Schedule

As of right now, new chapters for TGP (The Goblin Princess) will be released near or on the 9th and the 23rd.  New chapters for Nothing Is What It Seems will be released near or on the 16th and the 30th.  Now if something happens I can't get a chapter for one of the two stories I'm working on, I'll try to get something out that week, but no promises.  At the moment, I only have half of next month's releases written.  I'm working getting the second half ready.  My hope is to release something most Wednesdays this month.

News

So I'm sure my Wattpad readers, remember the story that I started on the site, but never did more than the first chapter.  Well, if you don't remember I lost the second chapter, which was mostly written, when I accidentally deleted it off my tablet.  Any way, I haven't made a decision about what I'm going to do with it.  I don't remember much of what I had planned for it.  I may have to take it down.

Also, I hate to say this again, but no Easter story this year.  Sorry.

About Half Way Ready For Next Month

I've almost finished the first chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems for next month.  So I'm about half way done for next month.  I'm fairly happy with myself.  I may change the way I release the chapters a bit. I haven't made a final decision.

Almost One Chapter Done

For the most part, Chapter 15 of TGP, The Goblin Princess, is finished.  I just need to write the memory for the start of the chapter.  Then it'll be done.  Then I'll start on the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems.  So I'm 1/4 of the way to having next month ready.  I know it's really more like five weeks, but I'm only writing four chapters for the month.

Being A Pain an An Update

So I've been looking for the "actor" who in my head would play Adam.  I finally found him thanks to a comment on a a fan made trailer for the He-man move from the 80s.  I was all for their suggestion, until I looked at who they suggested to play the role of Adam/He-man.  To me only one looks like the Adam in my head.

So who is it?  Chris Hemsworth.  I did look at Liam, but Chris has the the right jaw line.  Yes, I'm basing it off of the cartoon.  So what, and Chris was young once.  Of course, he more than likely couldn't pull off playing an 18 year old.  I mean he's two years older than me.  Well, maybe he could, but I doubt it.

I'm still on the look out for Veena.  She's harder.  Characters later in the series won't be so hard.

Working and Planning

I'm going to try and over two days write at least one more chapter for this month.  If I can get more than one written then I can change when I'll release the next chapter for Nothing Is What It Seems.  I already have a bit written, but I'm going to have to force it out.

Goals For February 2016

My goals for this month are fairly simple.  At least one update each for the two stories I'm currently working on.   I will try to get more out, but at least one per story.  I've almost got  the next chapter for each story ready for ya'll.  I would space them out over the month.

I'm not promising a Labyrinth Valentine's story this year.  I want to try and get to the next part of the series that TGP begins this year.  So I need to get TGP finally finished.

I have a few busy weeks coming up.  So I may not be able to get much more out, but I'll do my best, like always.

My Goal For The Rest Of This Month

Starting next month, I'm going to start doing my monthly goals at the beginning of each month.  I know that there is only one week left in this month, but I wanted to get this out.

I'm planning/hoping to have something ready to release next week.  I'm not promising that from now I'll have a chapter a week or something.  Oh, I can't do that, but I do have something almost ready.  So I can make this one.

Maybe I'll start sneak peeks again, but not for anything current.

We'll have to wait and see.

Those Crazy Days

Mother Nature is just loving playing tricks on us.  We had a mild Christmas, and now we have a chance at snow.  Really?

Any way, besides the crazy Alabama weather, I do have some tiny news for ya'll.

I finally released a new chapter for The Goblin Princess (TGP).  I'm so happy to finally get a chapter out for it.  I plan to start working on the next one as soon as I get the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems out.

Also, I am working on Chapter 24 of Nothing Is What It Seems.  It's still being a pain, but I do have an idea of what I want to happen in the chapter.

I may do a Valentine's story, but if I do I will write it first and only allow myself to do a one shot.

Chapter 24 is being a pain

So I've started on Chapter 24 of Nothing Is What It Seems, but it's not coming to me really.  I do have an idea, but it's just not coming.

So I'm going to work on TGP for a bit.

Paint's Not Being Kind

I can't get paint to work right.  So I may not be able to make covers for the stories.  I'll try again later.  At the moment, I'm off to work on a new chapter.

An Idea

I've said this before, and I've kinda done it,  But I'm going to try, again.  I'm going to try and make covers for some if not all of my stories.  If anyone wishes to help, please do.  I only have paint so they won't be the best, but it will be something.

I think I'll start with Nothing and TGP, before going back.  I did have one for TGP before, but I took it down.  I'm going to do a differnt one.

So wish me luck.  Don't worry I'm still writing.

Something That Bugs Me

So I'm busy working on Chapter 23 of Nothing Is What It Seems.  The thing is before I release the new chapter.  I'm going to go back and change a few things.  Nothing big I promise, but I have to change Hoggle's dialogue.  It's bothering me.  If I see anything else wrong, I'll fix it.  My fear is that I will want to change it too much.  That's why I normally don't go back and edit stuff after I finish a story.   It shouldn't take me long.  I'm only doing Hoggle's dialouge.  So not all chapters will be looked at.

I'm actually almost finished with the chapter.  So hopefully I'll get it up soon.

Plans For Moving Forward

Okay, since The Christmas Gift is finally finished, I am now going to begin working on Nothing Is What It Seems and TGP.  I can't promise that it'll be out this month,but it's coming.

I can't promise a Valentine's story to follow up to The Christmas Gift.  I'll try to, but I want to get a new chapter out for Nothing or TGP first.

Long Live The Goblin King

Yesterday, the world lost a very influential musician, no artist.  We lost our Goblin King.  So my fellow Labyrinth fans have no fears  he will live on each time we watch the movie or when someone starts a new fan fiction.  RIP David Bowie.  We'll keep "Magic Dance" alive.

GOT SOMETHING OUT FINALLY, but not finished yet

So I'm sure it has been about a month since I released Chapter 3 of The Christmas Gift.  Anyway, I have finally given you guys a new chapter, but it's not the final one.  It was getting pretty long, at least for this story.  So I cut it.  Don't worry after I cook and have dinner tonight I'll work on it a bit before I go to bed, I'm going to work on it. 

It's actually almost finished.  At least, I feel like it's close.

Still Working, but Well Blame A Game

Since I have my computer back (Yeah!), I'm really trying to get this Christmas story written, but I got a new game.  I can play it and write at the same time, if I want to.  It's Cities:  Skylines.  So I can watch over my city and write.

I can already tell you guys that I won't be able to write after work, but I'll try to write before I go to work.

I'm not going to make and release dates set in stone for anything.  I may even take a little break to relax from the Holidays.

Also, remember back when I messed up and deleted stuff on my tablet.  Well, I have completely lost the almost completed Chapter 12 of TGP.  I do remember some of what I had in the chapter, and I've already written a bit.  Hopefully, I haven't lost anything else.

Wonderful, Amazing News

I have my computer back.  Somehow my RAM got loose.  My dad just tighten it back up, and we're good to go.

I'm going to go through some of what I have on my computer and see how far I was before the disaster struck.

I still can't say when I'll get the Christmas story finished, but I'm working on it.

Change of Plans Again

So I've finished getting what I have on Wattpad, but the problem is I'm still wiped from the holidays.  Blame work mostly.  I really want to relax, and right now the Christmas story isn't relaxing.

I have started on the hopefully finally part, but I'm coming up blank.  I do need to get this finished before February.

I may start working on the next chapter of Nothing Is What It Seems or continue working on what I have of TGP.

I may end up taking the month off except to get this Christmas story finished.
